Daniel Ricciardo cracks the top 10 highest-paid drivers for 2022 despite struggling so badly he lost his job. Now he hopes to reclaim the mojo he lost in bitter McLaren split with Red Bull homecoming

Incoming Red Bull reserve driver Daniel Ricciardo has cracked the F1 top 10 rich list even in a shocking year that cost him his job and seat at McLaren for the 2023 season. Ricciardo endured his toughest season to date as McLaren’s second driver, finishing behind Lando Norris on many occasions and grappling with his future in the sport. The 232-race driver will join now return to Red Bull – where he began his career and earned his best career results – behind Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. Of the eight grand prix titles Ricciardo has taken out in his career, seven were during his first stint at Red Bull.
