MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Derrike Cope, the 1990 Daytona 500 winner, will make his final Daytona 500 start for Rick Ware Racing aboard the No. Jacob Companies, a long time sponsor of Rick Ware Racing, will be the primary sponsor of Cope and the No. “I am really looking forward to running this year’s Daytona 500 with Rick Ware Racing,” said the 62-year-old Cope, who is also the StarCom Racing Team Manager. “I have known Rick and his family for a long time and I am excited to have the opportunity to go to Daytona and race for another win! “We are excited to partner together with Derrike on his final Daytona 500 start,” said team owner Rick Ware.
