COMEBACK CAMMISH KEEPS HALFORDS YUASA RACING IN CONTENTION

Halfords Yuasa Racing drivers Dan Cammish and Matt Neal triumphed as their title rivals faltered in the latest Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship races at Croft on 11 October. Cammish recovered from a poor qualifying session to take second in the final race and slash his points deficit, while Neal nearly took his first race win since July 2018. Neal kept a train of cars behind him for the entire race to finish fourth, as a last-ditch effort from Sutton failed to pass the Honda on the finish line. All of which won Honda its second manufacturer award of the day and propelled Cammish into second place in the Drivers’ championship, only seven points behind leader Sutton. “It was a shame to lose the race two win, but I wasn’t really surprised,” added Neal.
