CarStore Power Maxed Racing collected some important points on an otherwise difficult trip to Brands Hatch in the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship last weekend (6/7 May). Unfortunately, Watson was collected in a multi-car incident at Clark Curve during the first race. Teammate Aron Taylor-Smith said, “On weekends like this, all we can do is take the positives. “Race two started quite well, but as early as the opening lap, I could feel something was astray with the engine. “The team did all they could to get me back out, but with only an hour turnaround, it wasn’t to be. “Things didn’t quite go our way in qualifying, which meant I had work to do in the races. “Race 3 was the best the Vauxhall Astra had handled all weekend, and we just missed out on points by one place.
