PLACERVILLE, Calif. — Tanner Carrick won the 35-lap Nor-Cal Shooutout finale at Placerville Speedway on Sunday night. Carrick held off a fast-closing Justin Sanders who himself had a heated battle for Sean Becker who took the third position. Carrick and Sanders made up the front row for the start with Carrick taking the early advantage on his way to leading the entire race. The race went 19 laps before the first caution when Landon Brooks pulled to a stop short of the infield. Once restarted, Carrick showed his dominance as the race went green again until the checkered flag.
