Carrera replaces Rozada in Sordo co-driver switch

Hyundai Motorsport driver Dani Sordo has announced an end to his partnership with co-driver Borja Rozada. Crashes in Sardinia and Kenya proved frustrating for Sordo and, in a statement released on Friday, the i20 star explained that fellow countryman Cándido Carrera would replace Rozada in the right-hand seat. Carrera brings a wealth of experience, having started well over 250 events, including more than 30 FIA World Rally Championship outings. “I am grateful to Borja for his dedication and professionalism,” said Sordo. “He has shown me to be a great co-driver inside and outside the car. “I hope to connect with Cándido Carrera as soon as possible and be able to celebrate great successes together this year,” he added.
