CARLOS SAINZ’S preparations for this weekend’s Miami GP got off to the worst possible start after he whacked his head on the pitwall. Video footage posted to Twitter shows Sainz, 27, clambering through a tiny opening in the pitwall. As he went to pull his body through Sainz painfully smashed his head on the metal fencing. Ferrari team-mate, and current F1 championship leader, Charles Leclerc, watched on as Sainz banged his head by the side of the track. The incident came just hours before the start of race weekend in Miami. And Sainz will be hoping his injury doesn’t hamper his chances in the race.
