OXFORD PLAINS, Maine — Canadian Cole Butcher held off veteran late model star Eddie MacDonald to win the 49thrunning of the Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway. Butcher was the fifth Canadian winner of the prestigious super late model race sanctioned by the Pro All Star Series super late model class and the first since Dave Whitlock in 1995. Butcher grabbed the lead with eight laps remaining after bumping leader Johnny Clark from behind. MacDonald, a two-time Oxford 250 winner, came home second, with Gabe Brown third.
