Butcher bidding to shine in Scotland

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK’s Rory Butcher is hoping the support of the British Touring Car Championship’s faithful Scottish fans will spur him on to glory on home soil this weekend (12/13 August), as the UK’s premier motor racing series makes its annual trip north of the border to Knockhill. The final member of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK trio, George Gamble, raced to the top step of the BTCC rostrum for the first time at Knockhill 12 months ago. Rory Butcher said: “There’s no question that Knockhill is the biggest weekend of the season for me. George Gamble, Driver said: “I’ve had a lot of success at Knockhill over the years, and obviously it was where I scored my first BTCC win last season, so that’s a very special memory for me going back this weekend. “We go to Knockhill off the back of a strong last race at Croft where I had a lot of fun fighting through the field.
