BTCC racer Jake Hill's Ford Capri led early in the second heat of the Gerry Marshall Trophy. After a wet qualifying Jack Tetley's Camaro was left low on the starting grid, but the big V8 fought its way through until Tetley was on the tail of the leading Capri.
