The 2022 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship roars back into action this weekend (30/31 July) as Knockhill signals the first event after the annual mid-summer break. The weekend marks the third in the campaign where ITV’s main channel will host three hours of race-day coverage before ITV4 concludes the day. Rich Energy BTC Racing man Josh Cook sits just three points in arrear of Ingram as he returns to a circuit where he bagged two top-four finishes just last year, while third-placed Colin Turkington will also be looking forward to the weekend, the Team BMW star having secured a victory and second place in Fife in 2021. While TSL’s live timings and the circuit commentary will be ongoing all weekend, ITV Sport’s coverage kicks off at itv.com/btcc on Saturday (30 July) with qualifying from 1525. Sunday’s race-day broadcast will begin with a three-hour programme on ITV’s main channel – between 1200-1500 – before ITV4 rounds out the day between 1455-1800.
