TOLEDO, Ohio — Kaylee Bryson will drive the Sam Pierce Racing No. It will mark the first open-wheel pavement race for Bryson, who has raced late model stock cars on asphalt. Bryson tested on the pavement in June at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, where she wheeled Sam Pierce Racing’s sprint car and midget. Speedway. “AP” is a multi-time open wheel champion with race wins in Trans-Am, USAC Silver Crown, sprint cars, winged pavement sprint cars, midgets, Legend Cars and late model stock cars.
