SOMERSET, Ky. — The upcoming Brucebilt Performance Parts Open Wheel Modified Southern Series is set to begin their seventh season of action. The tour will open on March 24-25 at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn., joining the XR Super Series and the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series for two complete nights of action. The series returns to Volunteer Speedway on September 13 for the 16th Annual Scorcher event. The series will finish the season on October 6-7 at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky. with a pair of $1,500-to-win events during the Archie Coffman Tribute and the Big Daddy Fall Classic. The largest paying event on the tour will be the Fourth Annual Area 51 at the McCarter Family-promoted 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn. paying $5,100-to-win and $300-to-start on July 15. The series will visit Ponderosa Speedway three times, Lake Cumberland Speedway twice and visit Boyd’s Speedway twice for a pair of events paying $1,000-to-win and $1,500-to-win respectively during the Stateline Showdown on September 22-23.
