Chase Briscoe underwent successful surgery on his broken left middle finger Monday morning, one day after the Noco 400 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Briscoe, 28, broke his finger while competing in a dirt late model race on April 6, prior to the Food City Dirt Race at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway. On Monday, Briscoe’s wife Marissa posted an update on Twitter. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford, as he led a career-high 109 laps at the half-mile track at Martinsville, before ultimately finishing fifth.
