Breen and Solberg rack up 600km in Hyundai’s Rally2 car

Craig Breen and Oliver Solberg completed more than 600km of winter development testing in Sweden last week in Hyundai Motorsport’s new i20 N Rally2 car. The test was the first of 2021 for a car due to be homologated in the summer, after which it will be available for customers to compete in WRC2 and WRC3 in the FIA World Rally Championship. Testing focused on the settings for the dampers and differentials to achieve the best balance and grip from the car. Andrew Johns, Hyundai’s customer racing operations leader, said the snow test was a key step to prepare a car capable on every surface.
