Ahead of the 2021 campaign, Toyota GAZOO Racing UK star Rory Butcher came up with an innovative way to offset his carbon footprint from travelling to Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship events, in conjunction with his sponsor, the Grounds Care Group. With nine race wins, 22 podium finishes and an Independent Drivers’ title to his credit from just five seasons in the BTCC to date, the Scot is no stranger to pulling up trees in the country’s premier motorsport series, but until recently, he was less well-versed in planting them. After putting down roots at Silverstone, Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK’s Burnaston and Deeside facilities and his home circuit of Knockhill over the past year-and-a-half, Rory is pleased to report that his environmental efforts are now beginning to bear fruit….
