Bottas leads Hamilton in close second practice session | 2019 British Grand Prix second practice

Having been displaced from the top of the times in the final moments of first practice Valtteri Bottas, headed the second session for Mercedes, but it was close.
Lewis Hamilton lapped within a tenth of a second of his team mate on his way to the second-fastest time.
The new track surface continued to catch drivers out in the second 90 minutes of running.
Sebastian Vettel also had a high-speed off-track moment at Becketts on his way to the fourth-fastest time behind his team mate.
First practice pace-setter Pierre Gasly was the quicker of the two Red Bull drivers again, this time in fifth place.
