CONCORD, N.C. – There’s only one thing on Boom Briggs’ mind with a return to the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series looming next year. Briggs has been close to victory lane with the series before and next year he hopes to finally prove he can win with the series. “We could have won a few times this year, really we should have,” Briggs noted on his recent rise. Next year will mark his fifth season as a full-time driver with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series. For Briggs and his team, the new year kicks off in just over a month when the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series season begins at Volusia (Fla.) Speedway Park for the Sunshine Nationals on Jan. 14-16.
