Bill Rose Released From Hospital Following Accident

Sprint car driver Bill Rose has been released from the hospital following a crash during Thursday night’s World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series event at Washington’s Skagit Speedway. During the first heat at the three-tenths-mile oval, Rose, 58, was involved in an accident with Trey Starks. Another update was posted Friday morning, stating Rose was released from the hospital with “broken ribs and (a) heavily bruised shoulder.”. The Plainfield, Ind., native has 17 career World of Outlaws top-10 finishes since his first start in 2001.
