Bell First On Track, Heim Qualifies On Truck Series Pole

Christopher Bell was the first driver on track for NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series qualifying at North Wilkesboro Speedway on Saturday morning. 61 Toyota slid to ninth on the leaderboard by the session’s end and will start on the fifth row for the Tyson 250, which will take the green at 1:30 p.m. (ET). 11 Toyota, who turned a fast lap of 20.072 seconds at 112.096 mph. Carson Hocevar will join Heim on the front row, as he qualified second with a 20.156-second lap time (111.629 mph). Bret Holmes, Grant Enfinger, Kyle Larson, Bell and Hailie Deegan completed the top 10. Other notable drivers who qualified outside the top 10 were Cup Series drivers Ross Chastain (12th) and Bubba Wallace (14th).
