ALTOONA, Iowa – Austin McCarl is hoping to expand his team or land a new opportunity that will allow him to add more traveling to his sprint car schedule next year. Sneaking in a few more ASCoC shows during 2020, McCarl was able to pick up another podium with the series to go along with two more top-five finishes. At Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway, McCarl had another strong run during weekly campaign that saw him finish second in the season standings on the strength of two feature event wins. Picking up the win during his preliminary night feature at the 360 Nationals, McCarl would go on to run very well in 410 sprint car action during the Capitani Classic and finish eighth during Saturday night’s championship feature.
