Oscar Piastri has provided an insight on McLaren’s upgrade package, and while he believes it is a step in the right direction, he insists it isn’t the ‘magic bullet’ that will deliver race wins. Piastri also stressed that the upgrades have only brought them back to where he thought the team ought to be at the start of the season. ‘There’s going to be other teams that have upgrades as well, we’re not going to be the only ones on the grid. So, there’ll be plenty of other teams that go quicker as well. Norris said that the team are playing ‘catch up’ with the rest of the field.
