AlphaTauri have formally confirmed that Pierre Gasly will stay with the team for the 2023 season. The 26-year-old, who has been with the sister team since he was demoted from Red Bull half-way into the 2019 season, has decided to stick with the Italians for another campaign. Team principal, Franz Tost added: ‘We are really pleased to confirm that Pierre stays with us in 2023. Gasly first raced for the team in the 2017 season, making his debut at the Malaysian Grand Prix as a replacement for Daniil Kvyat. Demoted back to the team formerly known as Toro Rosso, he took his first podium at the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix.
