Alonso, a veteran of 18 F1 seasons who left the series at the end of 2018, is already set to return to the Indianapolis 500 in May with McLaren.
For now, Alonso is committed to competing in this weekend’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, the end of the 2018-19 World Endurance Challenge super season – including the 24 Hours of Le Mans – and the 103rd Indy 500.
