Having given it his best shot, Alex Rins has decided to withdraw from the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland with the pain in his left wrist proving too much to deal with. The Team Suzuki Ecstar participated in Friday’s action and FP3 on Saturday despite suffering a double fracture at the Catalan GP a fortnight ago but has since reassessed the situation and decided to focus on recovery this weekend instead. I came here to Germany to try and see if it is possible to make the GP, but after FP3 I was suffering a lot of pain in my hand. So, myself and the team have decided to try and recover as much as possible, to not do the race and come back for Assen.
