Toronto — Simon Pagenaud is making things look easy at the Honda Indy Toronto.
The Team Penske driver backed up his field-leading Friday pace with the quickest lap in Saturday’s morning practice for the NTT IndyCar Series.
Pagenaud’s morning run was clocked at 59.3651 seconds, which was .07 seconds faster than second-place driver Felix Rosenqvist of Chip Ganassi Racing.
This latest session saw a handful of adventures, with 2012 race winner Ryan Hunter-Reay of Andretti Autosport sliding into the tire barrier in Turn 8.
