Lexington, Ohio – The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course isn’t Scott Dixon’s home track, but the Chip Ganassi Racing driver sure drives like it is.
Dixon, who has a track-record five NTT IndyCar Series race wins at this permanent road course, led Friday’s first practice for the Honda Indy 200.
Second was Spencer Pigot, driver of the No. 21 Ed Carpenter Racing Chevrolet.
Sunday’s Honda Indy 200, a 90-lap race, is at 4 p.m. on NBC, the Advance Auto Parts INDYCAR Radio Network and SiriusXM Channel 209.
